Lincoln -- The Nebraska men's tennis team continues their hot streak and improves to 6-0 after a 4-1 victory over UMKC.
In doubles play, in the No. 1 position, Linus Erhart and Toby Boyer made quick work of Airam Castellano and Alex Pozo and won 6-1. Micah Klousia and Dylan Bednarczyk sealed the doubles point for the Huskers with a 6-4 victory over Tom Kruse and Daniel Izadifar. Freshmen duo Isaac Nortey and William Grattan-Smith fought back to tie the set at 5-5 but went unfinished.
In singles play, Grattan-Smith defeated Izadifar 6-2, 6-2. In the No. 3 position, Erhart defeated Kruse 6-2, 6-2. Chris Dean in the No. 6 position won the match for the Huskers with a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Hunter Clark. The rest of the matches went unfinished.
The Huskers will hit the road for their next two matches against Arizona, February 17, and Northern Arizona, February 18. The Nebraska men's tennis team will be back home March 3, against Northern Illinois at 6 p.m.
