What made you want to start playing softball?
"I was 7 and all my friends were signing up to do it and one of my best friends moms was going to be the coach so I decided to join and try it out and I loved it."

Why did you decide to play softball at Nebraska?
"I decided to play softball at Nebraska because the coaches were incredible and the team was so nice and welcoming. They really made Nebraska feel like home away from home."

What is the best thing about being a Husker?
"The best thing about being a Husker is all of the fans. When I go anywhere out of state and I see Nebraska signs on cars. I just feel so lucky to be a part of a school that is loved by so many people from everywhere across the country."

What are the benefits of being a college softball player?
"[One] of the benefits of being a college softball player is most definitely getting close with your teammates. They become a second family to you. [Another benefit is] being able to say I’ve worked so hard for so many years to be where I am today and I’m so proud that I made it to where I’ve always dreamed of being."

What are the challenges of being a college softball player?
"The challenges are the time commitments we have to make that are challenging when playing a sport - going to school and having a social life. It can get stressful."

What career do you plan to go into after college?

"After college in my career, I would like to become an cccupational therapist for special needs kids."

What is your role on team/what do you bring to the team?
"I like to cheer and yell and sometimes the words that come out of my mouth don’t make sense but I like to hype the team up. It’s so much more fun when you are loud and I am very loud."

What are three things that make you unique or that people would be surprised to know about you?
"One thing that’s unique is that I love to two step or country dance. Second unique thing is I’m learning how to play guitar. Third unique thing is that I am an awful driver."

Favorite Movie? 
"I don’t have just one favorite movie, but the one movie that is my feel good movie is 'Grease'. It’s been my favorite since I was little."

Funniest teammate?
"Austen Urness."

Favorite book?
"Percy Jackson and the Olympians."

Favorite vacation spot?
"So far is Lake Tahoe, Nevada."

"Psychology."

"If I could have a super power I would want to fly."
