The Nebraska men's gymnastics team ranks fourth in the Big Ten Preseason Coaches Poll.
The Huskers finished fifth at the Big Ten Championships last season - its best since joining the conference prior to the 2012 season. Returning All-American Anton Stephenson claimed the conference vault title, becoming NU's first Big Ten Champion and first conference champion since 2002. Kyle King is also a returning All-American in 2018. King claimed the award on floor at the 2017 NCAA Championships. King and Antonio Castro were named 2018 Big Ten Gymnasts to Watch. Castro was a 2017 All-Big Ten first-team selection.
The Ohio State men's gymnastics team earned top honors in the Big Ten Preseason Coaches' Poll for the fourth consecutive season. The Buckeyes, who have won 14 total and two consecutive Big Ten Championships, were followed by No. 2 Minnesota, No. 3 Illinois, No. 4 Nebraska and No. 5 Penn State. Iowa and Michigan were ranked sixth and seventh in the preseason poll, respectively.
