Both former NU football players. Major Murphy was Co-Captain of the 1956 team, and Lieutenant Colonel Murphy was a teammate of David Rimington. Mrs. Murphy (wife of Maj. & mother of LtC.) is the sister of former Husker Defensive Coordinator, Monte Kiffin.
Master Sergeant Ronald Brundidge and Sergeant 1st Class Amy Brundidge - North Platte
