Was a B-24 Tail Gunner on combat missions striking Japanese targets in China, the Marshall Islands, the Philippines, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, and the Japanese home islands during WWII.
Private 1st Class William Dunn - Purdum
Served with the 32nd Infantry Regiment in Korea as an Infantry Rifleman, an Explosive Ordinance Detection Engineer, and as an Incendiary Weapons Technician.

Served as a Yeoman aboard the USS Prairie in the Persian Gulf during Operation Desert Storm. SCPO Morrissey learned commitment to military service at a young age from her father. He was a Marine Paratrooper in WWII and an Army Ranger in Korea – twice awarded the Silver Star.

Served as an Engineer and Law Enforcement Boarding Officer both on inland waterway and coastal vessels during his 28-year Coast Guard career.
Major James D. Murphy and Lieutenant Colonel James E. Murphy - Lexington
Both former NU football players. Major Murphy was Co-Captain of the 1956 team, and Lieutenant Colonel Murphy was a teammate of David Rimington. Mrs. Murphy (wife of Maj. & mother of LtC.) is the sister of former Husker Defensive Coordinator, Monte Kiffin.
Master Sergeant Ronald Brundidge and Sergeant 1st Class Amy Brundidge - North Platte
Are currently serving on active duty. Master Sergeant Brundidge has been deployed both to Iraq and to Afghanistan.
Lance Corporal Justin Graves - Bellevue
