Huskers Head to Mizzou Invitational

Nebraska at Mizzou Invitational

Location: Mizzou Aquatic Center, Columbia, Mo.

Time: 10 a.m.

The Nebraska swimming and diving team will travel to Columbia, Mo. on Thursday, Nov. 16 for take part in the three-day Mizzou Invitational. The squad will compete starting Thursday at 10 a.m. For live results, click here.

Host Missouri owns a 1-3 overall record this season, after coming off of its first win against Southern Illinois at the Saluki Invite.

Nebraska divers Abigail Knapton, Grace Tiernon and Katrina Voge last competed in the Minnesota Invitational. Knapton is coming off of victories in the three meter and platform dives.

Husker swimmers last saw action against Kansas Nov. 4. Missouri native, Tori Beeler pulled in a first-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke after Beeler and Jordan Ehly took first and second, respectively, in the 200 IM. Ehly notched first in the 200-yard breaststroke. Freshman Autumn Haebig found her first first-place finish of the weekend in the 500-yard freestyle.

Following the Mizzou Invitational, Nebraska will have nearly two weeks off before competing at the USA Swimming Winter Nationals in Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 29-Dec. 2.

Last Time Out: Knapton Captures Two First-Place Finishes

All-American Abigail Knapton captured two first-place finishes in the Minnesota Diving Invitational this week.

The Omaha native finished first in the three-meter dive on Friday with her score of 330.35. 

On Saturday, Knapton notched a 261.30 for first place in the platform dive event. Junior Katrina Voge finished eighth for the Big Red with her score of 218.10. Grace Tiernon followed for 11th (204.05). 

The Huskers will continue their dual season Jan. 13th as they take on the Mavericks in Omaha.
