Twelve former Huskers saw action for their respective teams in Week 9 of the National Football League, highlighted by performances from former Blackshirts who made big impacts on their games.

Zaire Anderson made five stops, including one for a loss in the Eagles-Broncos game Sunday, while Nathan Gerry made his first-career tackle in helping the Eagles to a 51-23 victory.

Punter Sam Koch had another strong day for the Ravens, punting four times for a 39.5 net with two inside the 20-yard line and a long of 61. Koch also showed his skills throwing the ball, as he completed a 16-yard pass on a fake punt in the first quarter.

On the offensive side of the ball, Ameer Abdullah rushed 21 times for 48 yards and a touchdown in Detroit's 30-17 Monday Night win over the Packers at Lambeau Field.
