Twelve former Huskers saw action for their respective teams in Week 9 of the National Football League, highlighted by performances from former Blackshirts who made big impacts on their games.
Will Compton played one of his best games of the season, playing all but one snap at linebacker for Washington in its 17-14 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Compton made nine tackles and recorded his first interception of the season on Sunday.
Lavonte David racked up seven tackles, including one for a loss, and forced a fumble for Tampa Bay on Sunday, while Ndamukong Suh recorded a sack and a forced fumble for Miami on Sunday Night.
Zaire Anderson made five stops, including one for a loss in the Eagles-Broncos game Sunday, while Nathan Gerry made his first-career tackle in helping the Eagles to a 51-23 victory.
Punter Sam Koch had another strong day for the Ravens, punting four times for a 39.5 net with two inside the 20-yard line and a long of 61. Koch also showed his skills throwing the ball, as he completed a 16-yard pass on a fake punt in the first quarter.
On the offensive side of the ball, Ameer Abdullah rushed 21 times for 48 yards and a touchdown in Detroit's 30-17 Monday Night win over the Packers at Lambeau Field.
Offensive linemen Brent Qvale (Jets) and Richie Incognito (Bills) both started and played every offensive snap in the Jets-Bills game, which Qvale's Jets emerged victorious, 34-21, on Thursday Night.
