Several former Huskers had impressive performances in the fourth week of the 2017 NFL season.
The group was highlighted by former running back Ameer Abdullah who ran for 94 yards and one touchdown in the Detroit Lions' 14-7 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. Abdullah also had three catches for 15 yards.
Ravens' punter Sam Koch had five punts for 222 yards, which included a long of 51 yards.
On the offensive line, Spencer Long (Washington Redskins) started at center and played every offensive snap. Richie Incognito (Buffalo Bills) and Matt Slauson (Los Angeles Chargers) both started at left guard for their respective teams. Brent Qvale (New York Jets) started at right tackle and played on special teams. Jeremiah Sirles (Minnesota Vikings) played at guard and on special teams.
On the other side of the ball, Maliek Collins started at defensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys, recording two tackles, including one for loss. Ndamukong Suh racked up four tackles and started at defensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins. Denver linebacker Zaire Anderson played on special teams and had two tackles.
