Huskers in the NFL Week 16

Cincinnati's Rex Burkhead was among the top performers by former Huskers during Week 16 of the NFL season. Burkhead ran 12 times for 42 yards and caught four passes for 25 yards against Houston on Saturday. His longest run was nine yards, and his longest catch was 11 yards.

New York Jet Quincy Enunwa ran once for 12 yards and also had one 30-yard reception at New England on Saturday.

Washington's Spencer Long and San Diego's Matt Slauson each earned starts at center during the penultimate week of the NFL regular season. Minnesota's Jeremiah Sirles started at right tackle, while New York Jet Brent Qvale earned playing time at New England.

Tampa Bay's Lavonte David registered a four-yard sack against New Orleans on Saturday. David had seven tackles altogether, with six of them unassisted.

Pro Bowler Ndamukong Suh had six tackles for Miami on Saturday, helping the Dolphins to a 34-31 overtime victory over Buffalo. Denver's Jared Crick also put together a solid performance on the defensive line, registering five tackles at Kansas City on Sunday night. 

On special teams, Baltimore's Sam Koch landed all three of his punts inside the 20-yard line against Pittsburgh on Sunday. 

On Monday Night Football, Dallas defensive linemen Maliek Collins and Randy Gregory helped the Cowboys to a 42-21 win over Detroit. Collins registered an 11-yard sack, and also had three quarterback hurries. Gregory tallied two tackles and one QB hurry.
