Huskers Move Up to No. 8

The Nebraska rifle team ranks eighth in this week's CRCA Top 20 Poll, moving up one spot since last week.

West Virginia and TCU hold the top two spots, respectively. Air Force and Murray State are tied for third, while Alaska rounds out the top five.

The Huskers are coming off a 4,659-4,654 victory over Ole Miss on Oct. 15. Freshman Samantha Peterson led the team in smallbore in her collegiate debut firing 584. In air rifle, UT Martin transfer Dacotah Faught fired a team-high score of 592.

The Huskers are back in action on Oct. 29 as they welcome Ohio State to the NU Rifle Range for a 9 a.m. matchup.
