Pat Letz Leads Huskers at Notre Dame Invitational

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Nebraska cross country team competed at the Notre Dame Invitational on Friday at Notre Dame Golf Course.

The Husker men took 20th in the Blue Men's division and the women's squad placed 23rd in the Blue Women's division, both stacked with talented teams.

Junior Pat Letz led the men's team with an 85th-place finish and a time of 24:48.5, followed by sophomore Wyatt McGuire in 113th place (25:03.4), senior Jacob Olson in 126th (25:13.9) and junior Austin Post in 127th (25:14.2).

Junior Katrina Santiago again led the Big Red women for the third time this season coming in at 115th place with a time of 17:54.1, followed by junior Anna Peer in 130th (18:04.0), junior Bonnie Smith in 134th (18:05.4) and sophomore Nicole Colonna in 166th (18:30.8).

The Huskers will look to bounce back in two weeks as they gear up for the final stretch of the season at the Pre-National Invitational on Saturday, October 15.
