Annapolis, Md. --- The No. 8 Nebraska rifle team dominated Ole Miss on Saturday by a score of 4,667-4,631.
Nebraska got off to a strong start outshooting the Rebels 2,318-2,290 in smallbore. Denise Martin and Rachel Martin led the Huskers firing 582 and 580, respectively. Nina Radulovic pitched in a 579, while Alex Lorentz added a 577.
The Huskers held a comfortable lead heading into air rifle, but did not let up. NU finished with a team score of 2,349. Radulovic fired a career-best score of 593, leading the team. Jaycee Carter tallied a 590 and Magdalena Mical ended with a score of 587. Ole Miss finished with a team score of 2.341.
Ali Weisz led the Rebels in both smallbore and air rifle. Weisz finished with a score of 578 and 593, respectively.
The Huskers are back in action on Feb. 14. The team takes on Navy for the final match of the regular season. The match is set to begin at 7 a.m.
