Huskers Ranked No. 7

After the conclusion of the fall season, the Nebraska rifle team is ranked seventh on the CRCA Poll. West Virginia, Murray State and TCU hold the top three spots in that order.

The Huskers started 0-2, losing to Air Force and West Virginia on Oct. 10 and Oct. 11 respectfully, but the team quickly bounced back with a win over Memphis on Oct. 24.   NU finished 4-4 in the first half of the season, including a weekend sweep in Charleston, S.C., on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, beating NC State and Army. Nebraska got its fourth win on senior day against Akron on Nov. 21.

Nebraska begins competition again on Jan. 16 when the team travels to Oxford, Miss., to battle Ole Miss and Murray State.
