Huskers Ranked No. 7

Lincoln, Neb. — The Nebraska rifle team is ranked seventh on this week’s Top 20 Poll.  The Huskers moved up four spots from last week after defeating Akron by a score of 4,670-4,612 on Nov. 21 at the NU Rifle Range.

The match marked senior day for Alexandrea Lorentz, Marissa Major, Denise Martin and Magdalena Mical. The Huskers finished the fall campaign 4-4 and will take nearly two months off before resuming competition. NU is back in action on Jan. 16 when the team goes to Oxford, Miss., to take on Murray State and Ole Miss.
