Lincoln, Neb. --- The No. 8 Nebraska rifle team welcomes top-ranked Kentucky to the NU Rifle Range on Nov. 14 for the team’s first home match of the season. The match is set to begin at 8 a.m.
The Huskers are coming off a bye week, but the last time the team competed, it completed a weekend sweep over NC State and Army West Point on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. The team looks to build on this momentum and upset No. 1 Kentucky on Saturday.
The Nebraska rifle team will also host a free brunch on Saturday for fans in the basement of the Military and Naval Science Building, right outside of the NU Rifle Range. The brunch will begin at 10 a.m. and will be catered by Hy-Vee. There will also be an interactive display for fans to learn more about the equipment that the team uses during competition.
