Normal, Ill. - The Nebraska men's golf team travels to Normal, Ill., Sunday through Monday, for the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate at the Weibring Golf Club.

This year's tournament will commence on Sunday at 8:30 a.m., with a shotgun start, while Monday will be a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. There will be two rounds on Sunday and one final round on Monday.

Sixteen teams will be joining the Huskers in Illinois: Bradley, Butler, Central Arkansas, Detroit Mercy, Drake, Eastern Illinois, Evansville, Illinois State, IPFW, Missouri State, Northern Iowa, Oakland, Southern Illinois, SIUE, Texas-Rio Grande Valley, and Western Illinois.

Representing NU will be 1.) Justin Jennings, 2.) Mike Colgate, 3.) Jackson Wendling, 4.) Joel Sneed, and 5.) Sean Song. On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the Huskers finished runner-up at the Ballyneal Challenge for their first outing of the season. Wendling led NU with a fourth place finish at even-par. Junior Justin Jennings finished tied for 5th place after firing a 143 over two rounds. Mike Colgate finished one stroke behind Jennings en route to a 7th place finish. Joel Sneed fired a 148 to tie for 11th place, while Sean Song carded 76 and 74 to finish 16th. Live stats for the tournament will be available on Golfstat.com.
