On what he does in the last 24 hours before a game
“I’m a very nervous person. I’m just really anxious to get out there on the field.”
On how this week compares to others
“This is a very good team that we are facing here, and we definitely have to be prepared. It’s just like any game where you have to prepare for your opponent and you can’t underestimate anyone.”
On facing a dual-threat quarterback
“We face that every day with Tommy (Armstrong) and in the past with Taylor (Martinez), so seeing those two and preparing for them any way we can.”
On the physicality of BYU
“They’re a very physical team up front, but I like to say that we’re a very physical team.”
On if he looks forward to someone trying to punch him in the mouth this week
“I think I’ll be doing the punching.”
On if he’s interested in seeing how Coach Mike Riley is in the locker room on Friday night and Saturday morning
“Yeah absolutely. That’s something I’m very interested to see.”
On what some of the keys are this week
“Discipline as Coach Riley said, just containment and staying disciplined in our passing lanes and pushing the pocket and putting as much pressure on them as possible.”
