LINCOLN, Neb. - On Monday the NCAA announced the second annual Elite 89 Fan Favorite contest in which fans will be able to vote for their favorite Elite 89 Award winner from the 2014-15 academic year.
The Nebraska men's gymnastics team is represented by rising senior Ethan Lottman, an art major with a 3.96 GPA. Fans do not have to register and can vote for multiple contestants but can only vote once per day per computer.
This week's voting will narrow the field down from 91 (there were ties at two championships) to 30 semifinalists. The following week, fans will vote on 10 finalists and then one winner, who will be announced on Friday, July 24.
