Dallas - Audrey Judd and Sarah Pravecek each carded final-round scores of 76 to lead the Nebraska women's golf team at the SMU/Dallas Athletic Club Invitational on Saturday.
The Huskers posted their best team score of the tournament with a 312, but slipped to 15th in the final team standings with a three-round total of 942 (317-313-312).
Oklahoma State captured the team title with an 875 (293-286-296), eight strokes ahead of runner-up Purdue (290-302-291-883). UC Davis finished third (298-288-302-888) in a loaded 16-team field on the par-72, 6,345-yard layout of the Dallas Athletic Club.
Judd, a freshman from Olathe, Kan., produced Nebraska's top individual finish by tying for 49th with a 54-hole total of 234 (80-78-76).
Pravecek, a sophomore from Omaha, added a 76 of her own on Saturday to tie for 52nd (83-76-76-235) and notched Nebraska's No. 2 individual finish of the tournament.
Sophomore Jordan Chael and junior Cassie Deeg each settled for rounds of 80 on Saturday to complete the Huskers' team score. Chael finished in a tie for 58th (76-80-80-236), while Deeg tied for 65th (80-79-80-239). Freshman Emily Gillman rounded out the Husker contingent in her home state by tying for 73rd (81-81-83-245).
Purdue's August Kim claimed medalist honors with a three-round score of 215 (71-73-71) defeating Yupaporn Kawinpakorn (76-70-69-215) from Kansas on the second playoff hole. Oklahoma State's Maddie McCrary finished third at 216 (74-72-70).
The Huskers return to action at the Big Ten Championships at The Fort Golf Resort in Indianapolis, April 24-26.
