Tempe, Ariz. - The Nebraska sand volleyball team improved to 2-2 on the season, defeating Arizona State 3-2 Wednesday night at the PERA Club.
Nebraska fell behind 2-1 in the contest before rallying to win the two nightcap matches for the 3-2 win over the Sun Devils (2-7).
No. 4 pair Annika Albrecht and Cecilia Hall started the night with a sweep of Whitney Follette and Halle Harker, 21-8, 21-17. Kelly Hunter and Kadie Rolfzen made quick work of their No. 3 match against Kizzy Willey and Sydney Palmer, 21-10, 21-12.
