For the fourth year in a row, the Nebraska softball program posted a perfect score in the NCAA's Graduation Success Rate (GSR) report, released on Tuesday, Oct. 28. Nebraska was one of only four Big Ten schools to post a perfect Graduation Success Rate in each of the last four reports.
The Graduation Success Rate is an NCAA measurement that, unlike the federally mandated graduation rates, includes transfer data in the calculation. The GSR scores released on Oct. 28 are based on four classes of scholarship student-athletes who entered college in the fall of 2004 to the fall of 2007.
The strong graduation rate further enhances Nebraska's stellar academic reputation. The Husker softball program has produced more academic All-Americans than any other softball program and is second nationally to the Nebraska volleyball program in academic All-Americans across all female sports. Overall, Nebraska leads the nation with 314 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans across all sports.
