NU Hits the Road, Travels to South Carolina

The No. 8 Nebraska rifle team heads to South Carolina this weekend to face NC State and Army.

On Oct. 18, the Huskers go up against No. 17 NC State.  NC State is 6-0 this season, after finishing No.1 at the first and second South Eastern Air Rifle Conference matches this season. The Huskers went 1-0 against the Wolfpack during the 2013-14 regular season.

The following day, on Oct. 19, NU competes against No. 12 Army.  The Black Knights are coming off a win against MIT and will be looking to pull off the upset against the eighth-ranked Huskers.

This will be the beginning of a series of away matches for Nebraska.  The team will not return home to the NU Rifle Range until the end of January.
