Huskers Travel to Regional Championships

The Nebraska men’s tennis team returns to Tulsa, Oklahoma this weekend for the USTA/ITA Central Regional Championships. Coach Kerry McDermott is pumped to be leading nine Huskers into competition.

Dusty Boyer played in the ITA Men’s All-American Championships Qualifying Men’s Singles bracket where he made it to the second round of play.

Four Huskers will participate in the qualifying singles bracket at regionals, including junior Scott Elsass, sophomores Charlie Shin and Court Clark, and freshman Chris Hobgarski. Clark will be taking on Vinh Pham of UMKC, Shin will face Colins Adams of Western Illinois, and Elsass and Hobgarski will both begin the tournament with byes. Elsass is seeded No. 4 and Hobgarski is No. 8.
