Huskers Ranked No. 9

The Nebraska rifle team is ranked ninth in this week’s CRCA Top 20 Poll, which was released on Monday.

The Huskers started their season on Oct. 4 in Colorado where they fell short to Air Force by a score of 4,667-4,648.

Lauren Phillips and Jaycee Carter led the way for Nebraska in the season debut.  Phillips shot a 585 in smallbore while Carter tallied a 592 in air rifle.

Nebraska competes twice this weekend at the NU Rifle Range against Murray (0ct. 10) and Ole Miss (Oct. 12).  Both matches begin at 8am.
