Huskers Ranked Ninth in Latest Sand Volleyball Poll

The Nebraska sand volleyball team is tied for ninth in the latest AVCA Sand Volleyball poll. The Huskers have a 3-2 dual record in 2014 and just got back from a string of matches in Hawaii and Arizona.

The Huskers are tied with St. Mary’s at the No. 9 spot. Southern California leads the rankings at No. 1, followed by Pepperdine at second, Hawaii at third, Florida State at No. 4 and Long Beach State rounds out the top five. UCLA, Florida International and Georgia State make up the sixth, seventh and eighth spots. Nebraska faced both No. 1 USC and No. 3 Hawaii in dual action this season.
