Wright Finishes Third at Texas Relays

Austin, Texas- Nebraska senior Chad Wright competed in his first meet of the outdoor season on Saturday as he posted a third-place finish in the discus at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.

A four-time All-American and NCAA Champion, Wright tallied a throw of 208-3 (63.47) to earn the top-three finish. After fouling on his first attempt, he notched a throw of 202-4 (61.68) on his second attempt that consistently held him in fourth-place through the next three rounds. His final attempt of 208-3 vaulted him up one spot in the final standings.
