The Husker men’s distance medley relay team of Connor Gibson, Ricco Hall, London Hawk and Trevor Vidlak posted a season-best time of 9:32.85 to finish eighth on Saturday at the Loftus Sports Complex on the campus of Notre Dame.
The squad’s time puts them at second all-time in the Husker record books. It also ranks as the fourth-best time in the Big Ten and puts them in the top 15 nationally entering today.
In addition, Jacob Holtmeier ran in the men’s 800 meters, finishing with a personal-best time of 1:50.18. He finished second in his heat and held on to post the second-best time on the day as LSU’s Blair Henderson finished first. Holtmeier’s time moves him up to ninth in the Big Ten.
