The Nebraska football team was back on the practice fields Tuesday evening, as the Huskers continue into the third week of the 2013 fall camp. The Huskers went through a two-hour practice in full pads inside the Hawks Center and outside at the Ed and Joyanne Gass practice facility.

Nebraska Head Coach Bo Pelini met with the media after practice, noting that the team is making some good progress as they start their preparations for the 2013 opening game versus Wyoming on Aug. 31.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 17 | HUSKERS COMPLETE SECOND WEEK OF FALL CAMP

The Nebraska football team completed week two of its 2013 football fall camp Saturday afternoon, going through a two-hour practice in full pads inside the Hawks Center and outside at the Ed and Joyanne Gass practice facility.Nebraska Head Coach Bo Pelini met with the media after practice, noting that the team has been through a long week of practice, but likes the team’s direction with two weeks to go before the season opener.

Nebraska Defensive Coordinator John Papuchis addressed the media after practice, noting that the team worked on a little bit of everything, including scrimmaging at the end of practice.

The Nebraska football team continued its 2013 football fall camp Tuesday night, going through a two-hour practice in full pads inside the Hawks Center and outside at the Ed and Joyanne Gass practice facility.

Nebraska Head Coach Bo Pelini addressed the media after practice, noting that he has been extremely impressed with the secondary, especially cornerbacks Josh Mitchell and seniors Stanley Jean-Baptiste and Ciante Evans.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 10 | HUSKERS COMPLETING WEEK ONE OF CAMP

Saturday marked the first of six days during Nebraska football preseason practice with two on-field sessions. The Huskers went through a 1 ½-hour light workout early Saturday afternoon in Lincoln, and will be back on the practice fields later in the day for a full-scale practice.

Nebraska Head Coach Bo Pelini met with the media following the first session of the day and talked about the progress the team has made through the first week of camp, indicating he’s seen a “lot of good things” from both the offense and defense.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 8 | BECK LIKES OFFENSIVE ATTENTIVENESS

Nebraska Offensive Coordinator Tim Beck addressed the media after practice, noting that he is still recovering from sleep apnea surgery, but thanks all of Husker nation for the support given in his recovery.

“I appreciate everybody’s support and prayers for me,” Beck said, “At the end of the day I am sore and worn out a little bit, but you get out there and get going and once you get out there you don’t feel it as much.”

 Beck seemed excited when asked about the high octane Husker offense, noting the group has performed well early in camp.

Packer, Nutt See Osborne as Worthy 'Czar'

FRIDAY, AUGUST 2 | FAN DAY

Under brilliant blue skies, the Nebraska football team mingled with nearly 6,000 Big Red fans on the glimmering green of the new FieldTurf under the shadows of the new East Stadium on Fan Day Friday.

On a perfect day for football, autograph signing, photo snapping and just about anything else, the 2013 version of the Huskers celebrated the unofficial opening of Fall Camp under sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-80s.

The Huskers, who are entering their third season in the Big Ten, are ranked 18th in the USA Today Coaches Poll released Thursday. NU begins their first of 24 fall camp practices Monday evenging before opening play at home against Wyoming on Saturday, Aug. 31.

Prior ot the festivities on the field, select Nebraska football players including seniors Jason Ankrah, Andrew Green and Jeremiah Sirles along with junior Jamal Turner met with members of the media to kick-off fall camp.

As the Huskers gear up for the start of fall camp, Sirles said Nebraska's expectations are high.

"Our expectations are kind of what they have always been - to win. A lot of us are going into our senior season, and it would be great to go out as a champion, so that is the expectation we have, to win the Big Ten Championship," Sirles said. "That is what we came out with last year, and that is what we are coming out with this year. Win them all the way."
