Lindsey Moore Letter

Fastbreakers,

Before I go onto the next stage of my life, I wanted to say thank you to all of you for the amazing support you have provided to our team throughout my four years at Nebraska.

It has been a special time with a lot of hard work followed by exciting victories. I have experienced plenty of ups and downs, but all of those things have helped me grow as a person.

I am thankful to be given the opportunities that I have been given at Nebraska. I am thankful the Husker Nation has embraced me. Even though I came to Nebraska from Washington four years ago, I feel like you all embraced me as one of your own. I am proud that I had the chance to represent all of you on and off the court, and I plan to continue to represent Nebraska wherever the next stage of my life takes me.

I'll always remember the chills I felt when I ran out onto the court from the tunnel as the band played “Hail Varsity” with all of you rising to your feet as we circled the court. The “Go Big Red” chants, the starting lineups and of course all of the great games we played at the Devaney Center are unforgettable.

Thank you for making the last four years of my life so special. There is No Place Like Nebraska.
