Weekend Softball Schedule Altered

Lincoln – Inclement weather has forced a change in the weekend schedule for the 20th-ranked Nebraska softball team. The Huskers will open their Big Ten Conference series with Northwestern on Friday in a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m. at Bowlin Stadium. The teams will then wrap up their three-game series, weather permitting, with a single game on either Saturday or Sunday.

If the Huskers and Wildcats are able to play both games of Friday’s newly scheduled doubleheader, the status, date and time of the third and final game of the series will be announced on Saturday morning.

Game 1: Friday, March 22 at 3 p.m.
Game 2: Friday, March 22 at 5:30 p.m. (or 20 minutes following the conclusion of game one)
Game 3: TBA (announcement will be made on Saturday morning regarding the status, date and time of game 3)
