Lawrence, Kan. - Steffi Neisen shot a 79 to tie for second in the Nebraska women's golf team's one-round dual at Kansas on Wednesday afternoon. The Huskers managed a 327 as a team against the Jayhawks at Alvamar Golf Club. KU won the dual with a 317.
Meghan Potee led the Jayhawks with a 76, while Neisen tied KU's Minami Levonowich and Audrey Yowell at 79 in second place.
Cassie Deeg managed an 81, while Jackie O'Doherty added an 82. Katelyn Wright (83), Morgan Smejkal (84), Hannah Luebke (84) and Cassidy Stelzmiller (85) rounded out the Husker contingent.
Nebraska added the mid-week dual with the Jayhawks during Spring Break after a competition date opened on the Husker schedule following a first-round rainout at the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz., March 8.
Nebraska returns to action at the SMU/Dallas Athletic Club Invitational, April 5-7.
