Husker Q&A: Andre Almeida

Senior Andre Almeida has returned from a knee injury and has been effective in the post for the Huskers this season. The 6-foot-11 center averages 8.0 points on 58 percent shooting, 4.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game in helping the Huskers to a 7-3 start. Almeida earned Big Ten Player-of-the-Week honors earlier this month following his 20-point, 11-rebound effort at Wake Forest in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. We had a few minutes to catch up with Almeida and learn more about the Sao Paulo, Brazil, native.
