Huskers Sign Top East Coast Recruit

Nebraska bowling Head Coach Bill Straub announced the addition of one of the top east coast recruits Friday with the signing of Gazmine Mason. Mason, a standout bowler from Cranston, R.I., will bring a ton of talent to the NU bowling team next season.

Gazmine is the No. 1 bowling recruit on the east coach for the class of 2013, as she currently owns a 228 average.

Straub believes Mason will be a great contributer throughout her Husker career.

"Gazmine has the most potential of all current high school seniors in the country," Straub said. "Besides being an excellent player, she is a 'A' student. We fully expect Gazmine to be a major contributor to Husker Bowling throughout her career."
