Huskers Host Revised Fall Classic This Weekend

The Nebraska softball team opens its fall exhibition season this weekend, when NU hosts the Husker Fall Classic on Friday and Saturday at Bowlin Stadium.

In a change from the original schedule, Nebraska will face Colorado State in a doubleheader beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday in the only two games of the day. On Sunday, UNO will join the tournament and the three teams will meet in round-robin play beginning with Colorado State vs. UNO at 11 a.m., followed by Nebraska and Colorado State at 1:30 p.m., and the Huskers and Mavs at 4 p.m.

Admission is free for the entire weekend and gates will open at Noon on Saturday and at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
