Henderson continued to be the only offense that Notre Dame need as she added her third and fourth goals in the second stanza at 47:30 and 66:30, respectively. Molly Campbell chipped in the Irish’s final goal at 80:06.

For the Huskers, goalkeeper Emma Stevens played all 90 minutes and gave up five goals, but posted nine saves as well on the afternoon. NU was unable to get by the Irish defense and only notched two shots on goal.

Nebraska will now head to Brookings, S.D., for a 6 p.m. game against South Dakota State on Friday. The Huskers are set to open the 2011 regular season at home on Friday, Aug. 19, when they host perennial power North Carolina at the Nebraska Soccer Field.
