Charter (Kearney) and Cable ONE (Norfolk) customers in Nebraska will have even more to cheer about as they anticipate the upcoming Husker football season. In time for Nebraska's inaugural season in the Big Ten Conference, both cable companies announced on Friday, July, 29, that they have added the Big Ten Network (BTN) to their Expanded Basic packages, significantly expanding the number of customers enjoying BTN.
BTN will remain on channel 425 on Charter Cable in Kearney and be seen by both Expanded Basic Digital and SportsView customers. BTN is also available at no additional cost for high-definition customers on channel 768.
All Husker football games will be provided either on BTN, ABC, Versus or one of the ESPN family of networks, all of which are provided by Charter and Cable ONE. In addition to Husker football games, fans will also be able to watch many other Nebraska sporting events, including men's and women's basketball, volleyball, baseball, Olympic sports and more, as well as studio shows, original programming, classic games and coaches' shows.
BTN will be on Cable ONE no later than Sept. 1, 2011. The channel number will be announced soon.
