Eleven Huskers Make Big 12 Honor Roll

Lincoln - Eleven Nebraska softball players were named to the 2010 Big 12 Commissioner's Fall Honor roll, including nine repeat selections and two first-time honorees.

Seniors Julie Brechtel (seventh selection) and Heidi Foland (seventh selection), junior Nikki Haget (fifth selection) and sophomore Megan Southworth (third selection) each continued their streaks of earning a spot on the honor roll every semester of their career. Other repeat selections included juniors Madison Drake (third selection), Ashley Guile (third selection), Ashley Hagemann (fourth selection) and Kirby Wright (second selection). Making the honor roll in their first semester at Nebraska were junior Saige Wright and freshman Morgan McCann.

Haget and Southworth both made the list with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. To earn a spot on the honor roll, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.
