A D.J. Sokol Arena record crowd of 2,061 was on-hard Wednesday night to watch the 22nd-ranked Nebraska Women's Basketball team knock off Crieghton for the sixth-straight season.  6-2 freshman Jordan Hooper  had her first career double-double (14 points/10 rebounds) to lead NU to a 63-55 win.  Sophomore point guard Lindsey Moore added 14 points while senior guard Dominique Kelley added 13.  The victory was Nebraska's 38th in their last 39 regular season games.  The Huskers return home to face the Northern Colorado Bears this Saturday night at the Devaney Center in Lincoln.

UNC broke a five-game losing streak last Saturday with a 76-42 win over South Dakota Tech.  The Bears have also defeated Air Force and Santa Clara this season.  They have a 3-6 overall record, but are 0-3 on the road.  UNC was picked in the pre-season to finish 8th in the Big Sky Conference.

5-10 junior wing Kaisha Brown  has made at least one three-pointer in every game this season.  She leads the team in scoring (11.8 ppg) and three-pointers (23).  5-11 sophomore forward Lauren Oosdyke  is second on the team in scoring (11.6 ppg) and rebounding (6.1 rpg).  5-10 guard D'Shara Strange  ranked second nationally among freshman in steals per game (3.1).  She is one of only five players in the Big Sky with multiple double-doubles this year.  Strange averages 10.8 ppg, leads the team in rebounds (7.1 rpg) and steals.  5-11 senior guard Courtney Stoermer  is the fourth UNC player to start every game this season.  She became the first player in Northern Colorado history to record a triple-double, when she had 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists at Sacramento State last season.  Stoermer is eighth on the all-time school scoring list with 1,142 points.  She averages 10.0 ppg and leads the team in assists. 6-0 freshman Kim Lockridge rounds out UNC's probable starting lineup.  She has started the last four games an averages 3.9 ppg.

Fifth-year UNC Head Coach Jaime White is a 1994 graduate of Southern Utah.  She is a product of the Elaine Elliott coaching tree, serving as an assistant under the longtime Utah Head Coach for two seasons before serving in the same role under long-time Elliott assistant Joe Legerski at Wyoming.

Nebraska leads the all-time series with Northern Colorado 3-0.  NU won the last meeting 89-46 in Lincoln on November 19, 2004.  Current Husker Assistant Coach Dayna Finch spent two seasons as an assistant for the Bears (2006-08).
