Nebraska 48, Kansas State 13

Nebraska Head Coach Bo Pelini
On the team's performance...
"I thought we played pretty well. I thought there was a lot of good things on offense and defense. I did not like the way we played special teams-wise. Overall, it was a pretty good effort against a good football team. It is still a work in progress. We still have a lot of things we can improve on."

On quarterback Taylor Martinez...
"He made some mistakes, but he did a lot of good things. He ran for a lot of yards. He is an explosive player. He creates some problems for defenses."

On the defensive play against Daniel Thomas...
"I thought we did some good things. We kind of got out ahead, which takes them out of the game a little bit. Overall, our guys played well against him but he is a good football player."

On the motivation of playing Kansas State for the last time...
"We are a motivated football team. We have goals that we have set. But yeah, that is a part of it. We are going to play all of these teams in the Big 12 for one last time in the near future. So there is probably motivation there on both sides."

On playing in Manhattan for the last time...
"Well I have not been here much. I have not played here many times. I have not been a part of this rivalry. Just by its location, by what Coach Snyder has done with the Kansas State program, but you know, you move on. I thought it was a good rivalry on both sides. And it is part of the deal I guess."
