Senior Quarterback Carson Coffman
On the offense's struggles...
"It just comes down to finishing the drives, we talk about it all of the time but we did not do that tonight. We felt like we were moving it pretty well at some points, but we just could not finish."
On the gameday environment...
"It was awesome. The fans were really into it and we were feeling good but it kind of got out of hand early in the ballgame. The fans got out of the game, but we know that is our fault."
On Nebraska's defense...
"They were definitely a very good defense. Their corners are very good and we did not throw it down field because of that. I felt like we had a good gameplan going in and I thought they had a good gameplan as well. They just ended up beating us tonight."
Sophomore Wide Receiver Chris Harper
On his first touchdown as a Wildcat...
"It was bitter-sweet. We were down by 30 points and Brodrick (Smith) had just gotten hurt, but you have got to keep fighting. You can not ever give up, no matter what the score is. We still have to go out there and get better. The season is far from over."
On hitting his career-long 48 yard field goal...
"We have to execute. The coaching staff put us in some good positions, but we did not execute like we needed to. We left a lot of points out on the field, and we are going to see that tomorrow on film and we will get better from it."
Senior Kicker Josh Cherry
On converting on 46 and 48 yard field goal attempts...
"I thought it went pretty well for me tonight. It was a big confidence booster, I think that those two field goals were the longest of the season for me. To go out there and hit those, no matter what the outcome of the game was, was huge for me personally."
On hitting his career-long 48 yard field goal...
"I had no idea how long it actually was. I always try not to look at the distance when I go out there, because that usually just psyches me out. I just went out there with a positive attitude, telling myself that this one was going in and I had worked on this all week. I'm just glad it went in."
On the disappointment of the loss...
"Especially with Nebraska being my home state, I really wanted it tonight. You have your ups and downs throughout the season and tonight was definitely a down for us. We will rebound from this, we are going to work really hard this week in practice. Everybody is just going to try to fix their mistakes, and hopefully something like this won't happen again."
Junior Defensive Back David Garrett
On Nebraska Quarterback Taylor Martinez...
"He was a good player and very fast. That doesn't have anything to do with how we came out to play. We did not execute like we are supposed to, like we tried to do all week. Martinez is a good player and he came out to play today."
On Nebraska's team speed...
"I would not say that they had more speed than what we thought. We just did not come out and execute like we needed to. They came out to play and did not make mistakes, they were the ones that did execute tonight."
On the disappointment of the loss...
"Every good defense will have a down point. This is a big loss for us, but like I said we have got to swallow it and start getting better for next week."
Senior Defensive End Antonio Felder
On trying to stop Nebraska's running attack...
"It is always frustrating when a team is being successful. You just have to go to the sideline and try to adjust series-to-series."
On Nebraska's speed on offense...
"Film speed is definitely different, because you always feel like you are faster than who you are watching. Once you get into the game and get moving you start to get a feel for how fast the other team is. We were not able to adjust to their speed throughout the game."
