Quarterback Blaine Gabbert
On the first quarter:
"We got to come out stronger. They’re a good football team and they got the edge on us in the first quarter."
If Nebraska is the best secondary he's seen:
"They’re great players. They’re well coached and do their jobs extremely well. We just got to make plays. That’s what it boils down to. We had opportunities."
On the first-and-goal and having to settling for a field goal:
"We got to get touchdowns in that situation. They did a great job standing up on the goal line, but we got to punch that in."
If the better team won today:
"I don’t know. Football is football. People are going to win. You just got to come out and play you’re 'A' game."
On running the ball:
"You got to capitalize on the opportunity. They were covering people and nobody was in the middle of the field, you got to take off."
If it was a disappointing loss:
"Any time you lose a football game it’s disappointing, especially in the Big 12 North, but Nebraska is a good football team."
One being down 24-0:
"They started fast. We got to come out of the gates going too. They definitely got a big lead in the first quarter, but we came back and responded well from the adversity but in the end we just have to do more."
Wide Receiver TJ Moe
On the Nebraska secondary:
"That’s a good secondary. They have a lot of good players that are athletic and smart. And we didn’t take advantage of some things and had a lot of drops out there."
On the Nebraska defense:
"They’re a good football team. They’re ranked that high for a reason. A couple of those guys are going to be in the NFL next year. We have to fight and do our best, and I think maybe we could have taken advantage of some things we didn’t do. But you have to give them credit. They’re a good football team."
If Missouri came out flat:
"I don’t think we executed to our best ability. They’re good. There’s a reason they’re ranked as high as they are. And there’s a reason some of those guys are going to be playing in the NFL next year. They have good players and I think we could have taken advantage of some things we didn’t do and some opportunities; we dropped some balls."
Linebacker Andrew Gachkar
On the first quarter:
"We came out flat and weren’t ready to play. We missed some tackles. They capitalized."
On what Nebraska did:
"I always give them their props. They played great. There were definitely some things that were mess ups by us and they scored 60-yard touchdowns off them."
On losing the perfect season:
"It’s disappointing but we have to get back to work tomorrow night and forget about it now."
