Las Cruces, N.M. - The Nebraska men's golf team will finish up their fall season on Monday and Tuesday at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate. The tournament will be contested at the New Mexico State University Golf Course in Las Cruces, N.M., a 7,003-yard par 72 configuration.
Joining the Huskers this week is New Mexico State, Washington State, UNLV, Texas State, Kansas, Idaho, Boise State, Illinois State, Air Force, Utah, UTEP, Wichita State, Weber State and Western New Mexico. The tournament will start on Monday with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The second round will be played immediately following first round play on Monday. The final 18 holes will begin on Tuesday with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
NU will put Scott Willman in the No. 1 spot for this week's tournament, looking to improve on their ninth place finish at the UMKC Bill Ross Intercollegiate. Neil Dufford will play as the No. 2, with Brett Nymeyer, Andrew Wyatt and Mike Coatman playing as the Nos. 3, 4 and 5, respectively.
