Tulsa, Okla.--- Nebraska men's tennis player Benedikt Lindheim won his fourth round match in the Qualifying Bracket at the D'Novo/ITA All-American Championships on Wednesday, Oct. 6, to advance to the Main Draw, which begins on Thursday. Lindheim will be the only Husker competing in the Main Draw after No. 49 Calin Paar dropped his fourth round match.
Lindheim picked up his ninth win of the fall season by defeating Viktor Maksimcuk (Louisville) in three sets 4-6, 6-3, 6-2. Lindheim advances to the main draw after being awarded one of five "Lucky Loser" spots after dropping his finals match in the Pre-Qualifying bracket. After playing a tough first set, Paar wasn't able to hold off Dean Jackson (San Diego) falling in straight sets 7-6 (4), 6-0.
