Ndamukong Suh had several objectives Saturday night, and the biggest one was doing something he's always wanted to do - be a fan inside Nebraska's Memorial Stadium.
Taking a break from his first NFL preseason training camp, the Detroit Lions' first-round draft choice sat down with Huskers.com and shared some thoughts before making the most unusual Game Day tunnel walk he's ever taken - in street clothes.
Suh discussed the difference between preparing for an NFL season and a college season and how much Nebraska, and specifically the defense, has improved since he enrolled here. He also described what it's like being a fan and an alum instead of suiting up on Saturdays.
Suh said he likes Nebraska getting its swagger back, enjoys the Huskers being in the top 10 and thinks his alma mater can contend for the natiuonal championship this year.
Nebraska fans made sure that Suh knew they still cared, shouting "Suhhhhhhh" every time the video boards showed the 2009 Outland Trophy winner making a tackle.
