Hangin' with the Huskers: Emily Wong

In this video edition of Hangin' with the Huskers, we caught up with freshman Emily Wong to get to know one of the newest members of the Husker squad. 

Wong competed for coaches James and JJ Bayer at Red River Valley Gymnastics in Grand Forks, N.D. She was the North Dakota state all-around champion in 2008 and 2009, in addition to being the North Dakota vault, bars, beam and floor champion in 2009. She placed fifth in the all-around, fourth on bars and third on beam at the 2009 regionals. Wong garnered a 10th place finish on beam and came in 16th in the all-around at the 2009 Junior Olympic National Championships as well.
