The Nebraska softball team will begin the Big 12 Championship a little later than originally planned on Saturday, May 15, as inclement weather in the Oklahoma City area rained out Friday's first-round contests. The Huskers, who enter as the No. 6 seed, were originally scheduled to face third-seeded and 19th-ranked Texas A&M at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday but now will take on the Aggies at 5 p.m.
With the change in time also comes a change in field as the Huskers and Aggies will square off on the main field Saturday. The change allows fans to watch the Huskers for free on the Internet as Big12sports.com will have a live stream of the game available.
The winner of the 5 p.m. contest will turn around to immediately play in the semifinal matchup at approximately 7:30 p.m. Check back to Huskers.com for more information in case of additional time changes on Saturday.
