Husker fans in the eighth grade and under are invited to attend the Nebraska softball team’s nationally-televised game with 14th-ranked Missouri for free on Saturday at Noon at Bowlin Stadium.
Kids in the eighth grade and under will receive free admission into the game when accompanied by an adult who has paid for admission. Up to four eligible youth will receive complimentary admission for every paid admission by an accompanied adult.
Saturday’s game is one of the final chances to catch the 2010 Husker softball team in action, as the home finale is on Sunday. Nebraska’s senior class will be honored before the game on Saturday and all fans will have a final opportunity to pick up free softball posters and win free promotional prizes throughout the game, including T-shirts, gift certificates and Eileen’s Cookies.
On the field, Nebraska faces a stiff challenge against a Missouri squad that is 41-9 on the season and owns the best record of any team in the Big 12 Conference. The game is also being televised nationally by FSN.
Note: Fans with tickets to the Husker baseball game on Saturday will receive $1 admission into the softball game as usual. This discounted admission may also be used by an adult to get up to four accompanying kids (eighth grade and under) into the softball game for free.
