West Point, N.Y. - Nebraska junior Anthony Ingrelli was named a 2010 NCAA All-American after posting a sixth-place finish on still rings at the NCAA Championships in West Point, N.Y. on Saturday night. Ingrelli is the first Husker since the 2007 season to capture All-America honors.
Ingrelli notched a score of 15.05 for sixth place in the event finals. Ingrelli, who had made the preliminaries twice before, advanced into the 2010 NCAA event finals for the first time after notching a score of 15.20 in Friday's competition. He is the first Husker to become a still rings All-American since Josh Rasile in 2004.
Nebraska now has captured a total of 173 All-America awards.
