Crick, Huskers Lead Entering Final Round at Jackrabbit Invitational

Primm, Nev. - The Nebraska men's golf team is in prime position to capture its first team title since 2006, as the Huskers enter the final round of the Jackrabbit Invitational in first place with a team score of 581, nine strokes ahead of second-place Arkansas State.

The Huskers followed up their 286 team score in the first round with a 295 in the second round. Both scores were the top marks posted in the 17-team field competing at Primm Valley Golf Club.

Brandon Crick holds a comfortable four-stroke lead with a five-under-par 139. Crick followed up his first-round 69 with a 70 in the second round, as the senior converted on 10 birdies on the day.

Scott Willman is tied for third at even par, along with Neil Dufford, who is playing as an individual. Willman and Dufford each shot 73 in the first round and 71 in the second round.

Junior Andrew Wyatt (T10th) is the fourth Husker to crack the top 10 entering the final 18 holes. Wyatt is at four-over-par 148. Mike Coatman and Brett Nymeyer are tied for 27th at 152 (+8).
