College Station, Texas - The Huskers put in nine top-16 preliminary times in the sixth session of the Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday morning. Katilin Arntz will look for her third top-six finish of the meet as she had the fourth-fastest preliminary time in the 200-yard breaststroke, which was also the fourth-fastest time in NU history. Mariah Hutchinson also qualified for the "A" Finals in the 200-yard butterfly as the Huskers are set to make a final push in the standings in the seventh and final session on Saturday evening.
200 Backstroke
Ellan Dufour set a career-best time in the 200-yard backstroke when she swam a 2:01.77, the 15th-fastest time in the field and earning her a spot in the "B" Finals on Saturday evening. Caroline Shea and Rachell McClain each swam season-best times and will swim in the "C" Finals.

Jess Andrews made it into the "B" Finals of the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.62, a season-best for her. Ariel Weech was just outside the top 16, but swam a career-best time of 51.85 and will swim in the "C" Finals on Saturday evening.

Kaitlin Arntz continued her great run at the Big 12 Championships with a career-best time in the 200-yard breaststroke. Arntz clocked in at 2:12.85, the fourth-fastest time in the field and the fourth-fastest in NU history, which marks the third time this week that Arntz has set a top-four time on the NU career list. Arntz will look for her third top-six finish of the meet on Saturday evening. Kelsey Larson and Courtney Rhodenbaugh also had career-best times and will each swim in the "B" Finals.

Mariah Hutchinson qualified for the "A" Finals in the 200-yard butterfly as she looks for her fourth career top-10 finish in the event in her career. Hutchinson had the eighth-fastest preliminary time, putting in a season-best effort of 2:00.93. Kelsey Grushecky, Blaine Hoppenrath and Meredith Matthies also had season-best times and each qualified for the "B" Finals on Saturday evening.
