Fans Invited to Attend Soup Supper on Jan. 28

The Nebraska softball program invites fans to attend the On Deck Circle's 10th annual Soup Supper, set for Thursday, Jan. 28 from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. in the West Stadium Club (level 3 of West Memorial Stadium).

Cost for the soup supper is $10 per person ($5 for Lil' Sluggers members; ages 3 and under eat for free) and attendees are asked to RSVP to Anne Hackbart (ahackbart@huskers.com) with the On Deck Circle at (402) 472-4628 by Wednesday, Jan. 20. Meter parking is available for the event around Memorial Stadium.

Fans attending the event get to meet the 2010 team, get autographs and have an early chance to purchase Husker softball merchandise. A silent and live auction will also be held, with the proceeds directly benefiting the Husker softball program.

All fans are welcome to attend and highlights of the auction items available include:

• 300th Sellout poster signed by Tom Osborne
• Softball bat autographed by the Husker softball team
• Volleyball signed by the Husker volleyball team and coaches
• Football signed by Tom Osborne and Bo Pelini
• Game-used 300th Sellout football jersey signed by Tom Osborne and Bo Pelini
• Men's and women's basketball packages (signed ball and 2 tickets to a game)
• A wide assortment of adidas Husker apparel and bags
• An assortment of gift certificates
